David Grundland
I grew up in "Jewish Toronto". While pursuing an undergraduate degree at York University, I uncovered my passion for learning Torah, and subsequently, my desire to share life through a Torah lens. In 2008, I moved to Israel to study in Yeshiva in Efrat. In 2014, I was granted semicha (Rabbinic Ordination) by Rabbi Shlomo Riskin and Rabbi Zalman Nechemia Goldberg. I returned to Toronto with a mission and purpose to share the Holy Torah of Eretz Yisrael. After two years of learning and teaching for the Yeshiva University Torah MiTzion Beit Midrash Zichron Dov in Toronto, I now teach Judaic Studies at Associated Hebrew Schools Danilack, Torah High, and Shaarei Shomayim. I am also the Education Director at Beth Lida Forest Hill Congregation and I am studying Clinical Pastoral Education at Baycrest. My beloved wife and I are the proud parents of a son (5) and daughter (3).
