THE SCHEDULE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. One does not register for sessions.  Seating at individual sessions is first come, first served.
REGISTRATION and the Coat Room are on the 27th Floor along with many of the sessions. The Children’s Program, Lunch Room, Limmud Café and rooms E1, G3 and G4 are on the 16th Floor. There is easy access between the floors by 6 large elevators.

Three individuals with different backgrounds and experiences will share their coming out stories. The panel includes Ryan Kraft, who in 1998 was the first out gay student at CHAT, Melissa Green, who came out recently in high school, and transactivist Shoshanna Pellman.

Melissa Green was born on April 5,1994 to Eric and Lesley Green into a Reconstructionst Jewish family. Melissa is a Videographer, Photographer and Social Media Specialist. She has passion for making documentary film and photo Journalism. Using her skills of photography and video she wants to promote and address awareness within the LGBQT community.

Ryan Kraft

Ryan Kraft grew up in the Thornhill and Toronto Jewish community. He currently works as an ASL-English interpreter in Canada and the USA, primarily in post-secondary education, the arts, and the Jewish and LGBT communities. In his spare time he enjoys watching musical theatre, training aerial silks, reading literature and traveling the world. He tries to find joy in everything he does.

Shoshana Pellman

In 2005 a mature Orthodox Jew became a TransLesbian activist. Over the years she has spoken and presented or co-presented at various workshops and conferences in places in Ontario including Oakville, Guelph and GTA.
