In a dynamic presentation, Penny will provide the statistics and facts about violence against women, what it looks like, the impact on the women and their children and the community resources available. Judy's brutally honest presentation is from her own personal experience living in an abusive relationship for more than 20 years. She and her ex-husband were both well-educated upper-middle-class professionals. She describes her life during the marriage and since her divorce candidly and with amazing courage as she discloses intimate and painful events in her life, how it affected her and her sons. The presentation is designed to allow a lively question and answer session as well.
