REGISTRATION and the Coat Room are on the 27th Floor along with many of the sessions. The Children’s Program, Lunch Room, Limmud Café and rooms E1, G3 and G4 are on the 16th Floor. There is easy access between the floors by 6 large elevators.

The centenary of the Balfour Declaration will be celebrated on November 2, 2017. Who was Lord Balfour? An aristocrat whose deep respect for the Jews and their history evolved into a commitment to help Zionists achieve their dream of a restored Jewish homeland. Without the Balfour Declaration, which Balfour had to fight hard for, there would have been no Mandate and no state of Israel. In my presentation, how Balfour came to be a Zionist and inspired his political peers with excitement for his cause will be interwoven with history's perfect storm of Zionism, war and imperial ambitions in the Middle East, which together created the conditions for Israel to re-emerge as a sovereign nation.
