Robin Bergart

University of Guelph
User Experience Librarian
Robin has been a User Experience librarian at the University of Guelph since 2002, first as a liaison librarian for Agricultural Economics & Business, and later for English & Theatre Studies (a natural progression!). She is currently a member of the library’s User Experience team. The team studies students’ and faculty’s interactions with the library, and makes recommendations to better serve uses’ goals, needs and expectations. Robin is Editor-in-Chief of The Partnership, a Canadian peer-review journal of library information practice and research. She is also on the Board of the Association for Canadian Jewish Studies. She recently passed on the torch after a 5 year stint as the Random Library Generator columnist for the Ontario Library Association’s Open Shelf magazine.
