Joanna Sasson

Joanna Sasson is the Community Development Direct Services Manager for JIAS (Jewish Immigrant Aid Services) Toronto. Previous to her 10 years (and counting) with JIAS Toronto, she worked as a Jewish educator at The Family Resource Centre, Schechter Schools, Ramah camps and synagogues. She is on the board of the Toronto Partnership Minyan, which seeks greater spirituality and openness within the confines of halachah (Jewish law) through participatory prayer, study and other aspects of communal religious life. Joanna has been involved with Limmud Toronto as both a presenter and a volunteer, serving as logistics co-chair last year. She is thrilled to be co-chairing this year what promises to be the most Lively, Innovative, Momentous, Motivational, Unrivaled, Diverse festival of learning we have ever had in Toronto.
