Andrew Dale

Andrew Dale is formerly one of Canada's youngest finance executives, rapidly ascending the ranks of Bay Street to become a Partner at age 26. In December 2015, he quit.  With the goal of changing the rules of the historically-toxic fashion industry, Andrew founded fashion startup LeDaveed in July 2016. A play on his middle and Hebrew name, and infused with the values of honesty and respect for people and the environment, the growth of LeDaveed has coincided with Andrew's journey from culturally Jewish, to religious all while living with an openly gay identity. Andrew is a frequent speaker on LGBTQ issues in Judaism, and is the first-ever Canadian volunteer with the Eshel Welcoming Shuls Project, which aims to create safe spaces for LGBTQ Orthodox and traditional Jews. He has twice been nominated by Out on Bay Street as an Emerging Leader in Canada's LGBTQ business community. He is also a participant in the Joshua Institute Executive Education Program in partnership with the Rotman School. Andrew graduated from York University's Schulich School of Business in 2009.
