Corey Shefman is a lawyer in Toronto, having recently relocated from sunny Winnipeg. In his law practice, Corey represents First Nations, and seeks to enhance justice and sovereignty for Indigenous peoples. Corey is the former President of the Manitoba Association for Rights and Liberties and is currently on the Board of Directors of the New Israel Fund of Canada. When Donald Trump enacted his travel ban in January 2017, Corey coordinated the Toronto legal community's resistance efforts at Pearson Airport. Corey appears regularly in the media to discuss human rights issues in Canada.
