THE SCHEDULE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. One does not register for sessions.  Seating at individual sessions is first come, first served.
REGISTRATION and the Coat Room are on the 27th Floor along with many of the sessions. The Children’s Program, Lunch Room, Limmud Café and rooms E1, G3 and G4 are on the 16th Floor. There is easy access between the floors by 6 large elevators.

Harvey (Haim) Hames

Harvey (Haim) Hames is Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Chaim received his PhD in Medieval History from Cambridge University in 1996, and since then has been a lecturer in the Department of General History at BGU. In 2013, he set up the Center for the Study of Conversion and Inter-Religious Encounters at BGU. Haim's research interests include Medieval and Renaissance Jewish, Christian and Muslim mysticism and philosophy, apocalypticism, inter-religious polemics, conversion, Bible and Talmud translations and issues dealing with religious conversion. Amongst his publications, he has written a book (in Hebrew) for a more general audience dealing with Judaism in contemporary Israel entitled I (do not) Believe: Judaism and Israel, Past, Present, Future, (Tel Aviv: Ktav Publishing House 2011). Most importantly, he is Jonathan Hames' brother!
