Kim Edwards

Dr. Kim Edwards is a registered clinical and health psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (Canada). She received her Ph.D. from the University of Western Ontario in 2014 where she focused on studying the relationship between humour, gratitude, and health. Dr. Edwards currently works at McMaster Children's Hospital, in the pediatric chronic pain clinic, as well as in private practice with children who have Tourette Syndrome and associated disorders. Over the past eight years, Dr. Edwards has delivered over 60 conference presentations and invitational lectures. She has also helped develop evidence-based workshops, videos, games, apps, and resources for teachers, clinicians, parents, and youth about mental health and positive psychology (i.e., the science of what makes life worth living). In her spare time, you can find Dr. Edwards rock-climbing, watching TED talks, hosting wonderfully chaotic dinner parties, and doing her best not to take herself too seriously.
