Rachel Landau

Toronto, Canada
Rachel is a second-year student at the University of Toronto Scarborough, pursuing a double major in Public Policy (Co-op) and International Development Studies. Growing up  in the Toronto Jewish community and attending Jewish day school, Zionism and Israel were  frequently mentioned as an important aspect of Judaism . Towards the ends of high school, and throughout Rachel's time at university, she began challenging some of the ideals she had been taught with regards to Zionism and Israel. Grappling with her own relation towards Zionism, she began opening herself to various Palestinian and Israeli narratives. She organized this panel with the goal of opening ourselves up to further dialogue.
