Talia Lakritz

Greater New York City Area
Talia is a reporter at INSIDER and a digital content creator known as "nerdwithavoice” on YouTube. Her videos about feminism and LGBTQ+ issues in the Orthodox Jewish community - including her viral original song “Dear RCA” - have been featured in The Huffington Post, Everyday Feminism, Yahoo! News, and The Times of Israel and done wonders for her shidduch resume. Talia graduated with a degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from Barnard College, where she served as the president of Jewish Women On Campus (JWOC) and the College's official songwriter lovingly dubbed "The Barnard Balladeer." A proud, albeit unconventional, Bais Yaakov graduate, Talia focuses on feminist performance art and social media as a tool for social justice. She lives in New York City.
